TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, Probationary, In-person, Fall 2026 Semester

CLASSIFICATION: Probationary

SALARY RANGE: $52,156 - $85,165 based on degree and experience. Excellent fringe benefits.

JOB SUMMARY:

This in-person teaching assignment may include a full range of undergraduate courses in economics as well as some business courses.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching assignments may include day, evening, weekend, and/or online courses.

Maintaining scheduled office hours, advising students, developing curriculum, and participating in college service and professional development activities.

Leadership in developing and improving our academic courses.

Community service is encouraged.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Reports to the Chief Academic Officer/Senior Vice President.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Master of Business Administration with 18 credit hours in Economics, MA Economics, or Doctor of Philosophy in Economics.

All academic degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university.

Ability to maintain good relationships with students, staff, and community members.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Teaching experience at the community college level.

Proficient with computer skills, including the use of internet-based tools and PowerPoint.

Experience utilizing Learning Management Systems for course development and enhancement.
