Academic Support – Student Tutors

Terms of Employment: Contract is offered on a semester-by-semester basis 

Hourly Rates: 

1. Student Tutor (Associates degree):  $15.00
2. Student Tutor (no degree):  $14.00

Classification: Non-exempt; Hourly 

Responsibilities (vary based on position): 

• Tutor and assist students to better understand class material
• Maintain world-class customer service to students, staff, and faculty
• High ability to multi-task
• Maintain confidentiality
• Provide a professional image of SC4
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• Overall “3.0” or higher GPA
• Ability to write legible, speak, and read proficiently
• Ability to be punctual, responsible, and flexible
• Degrees earned must be from a regionally accredited college or university
• Ability to maintain good relationships with students, staff, and community members
