Charleston Endoscopy Center is hiring an Endoscopy Registered Nurse

 

Endoscopy Registered Nurse at Charleston Endoscopy Center

The Registered Nurse Endoscopy, prepares patients, equipment and room for Endoscopy procedures. Assists physicians with Endoscopy procedures.  Specialized knowledge, experience and training is required for endoscope manipulation under the direction of the physician. Knows and adheres to policies of the Center and demonstrates fiscal responsibility. Follows standards, policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for Endoscopy nursing care according to accepted standards. Maintains and demonstrates current skills and knowledge of Endoscopy procedures and techniques. Provides multi-dimensional care for assigned patients.  

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of experience in Endoscopy (GI)
  • ACLS and BLS are required and must be American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Experience is required for endoscope manipulation under the direction of the physician
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Currently licensed by the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of SC
  • General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and procedures for an endoscopy procedure room.
