USPI South Texas Specialty Hospital is seeking a motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. We have 25 Beds and 8 OR rooms and 3 ER Rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedic, Spine.
Job Summary: This position is responsible for performing the respiratory care needs for assigned patients. The Respiratory Therapist shall assume responsibility for implementing and assessing the therapeutic needs of the patients. The therapist is responsible for the dispersing of respiratory interventions, also to outline the roles and responsibilities determined necessary and essential for the delivery of services and care to the patient population.

Required Skills
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ critical care hospital Respiratory Therapy required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Registry-eligible CRT/RRT
- Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Department of Health
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Obtain PALS certification within 90 days
- Independent decision-making skills
