Registration Coordinator - PRN 

 

El Mirador Surgery Center is a fast paced, multi-specialty, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

 
 
 

 

Job Summary: Registration Coordinator needed for busy, multispecialty ASC. The Registration Coordinator interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff; Admit patients and process their paperwork; Update patient demographics/information in system; Collect monies due and document in the billing system; Handle funds per office procedure. Answer incoming phone calls.

 

Monday-Friday daytime work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

 

 

Starting Pay Range is  $25 - $28  /hour depending on experience 


Required Skills

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
  • Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.
  • Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
  • Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
