                       RN Clinical Manager

Longleaf Surgery Center in New Port Richey, FL is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The RN Clinical Manager provides leadership and oversight of daily clinical and nursing operations within the surgery center. This role ensures safe, high-quality patient care while supporting efficient operations, regulatory compliance, physician satisfaction, and an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate nursing and clinical staff and daily patient care activities.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, accreditation, and patient safety standards.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, staff education, competency, and performance.
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams to promote efficient patient flow.
  • Monitor quality, infection prevention, and patient safety initiatives.
  • Support regulatory surveys, policy development, and quality improvement activities.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • Current Florida RN license.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Previous perioperative, ambulatory surgery, or acute-care experience required.
  • Clinical leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Current BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred as applicable.

Required Skills

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a professional school of Nursing.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
  • Three years of operating room/critical care experience preferred.
  • Two years supervisory experience in the outpatient surgery area a plus.
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients and others.
  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities of a Staff Nurse are required for this position.
