TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our esteemed team. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients, while upholding our core beliefs of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility, and community engagement.
Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Houston Physicians Hospital
Duties will include stocking, dressing patients, walking patients, assisting patients to the bathroom, answering call lights, answering phones, and assisting RNs as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories
- Patient Interviewing skills
- Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols
- Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
- Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
