Bozeman Outpatient Surgery Center has an opening for a Sterile Processing Technician.
Bozeman Outpatient Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center (ASC). We believe health and care are inseparable. Job Summary: Under direction from the Clinical Director, the Sterile Processing Technician provides direct patient care by assisting patients and clinic staff with a variety of functions. This position will have a high focus on Central Sterile Processing and OR support, and will assist in PreOp and PACU as needed maintaining a clean and orderly patient care environment assisting nursing staff with appropriate patient care support. Consistently demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

- NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours!
- NO call required!

Required Skills
- High School diploma or GED
- Sterile Processing training and experience in medical setting
- CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
- Experience with all types of sterilizers.
- Knows operating room instrumentation.
- Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
- Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
- Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
- Ability to adapt to change quickly
- Effective communication and critical thinking skills
