Job Summary:

Medical Assistant needed for busy GI Lab.  This position report to the Clinical Manager.  Assisting with vital signs and taking patient history in Pre-op while working alongside RN.  The candidate will assist the front desk as needed. 

 

Qualification

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must have BLS from the American Hearth Association and/or able to get it within 30 days of hired.
  • Bilingual Preferred
  • Vital signs and monitoring pre-op and PACU patients and reporting to RN.
  • Must be a Team player and have the ability to interact in a professional manner with staff and physicians.
  • Ability to instruct patients prior to and after procedures.
  • Knowledge of GI anatomy is a preferred.
