PHARMACIST (FT) – TEXAS SPINE AND JOINT HOSPITAL TYLER

As a staff pharmacist, rotating weekly shifts are from 0600-1930 Monday thru Friday. One weekend per month of on call status is also required. Responsibilities include.

• Safely verify, prepare, and dispense medications for surgical patients in accordance with physician orders.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal medication therapy throughout the perioperative process.
• Review orders for accuracy, interactions, and appropriate dosing.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and hospital policies.
• Support medication education and maintain proper inventory and storage.

Experience: 1 year hospital required. ACPE IV Sterile Mixing certification required.
