As a Pre-Admissions RN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients are fully prepared for their upcoming procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting pre-operative assessments and screenings
• Reviewing patient medical history and ensuring all necessary clearances are obtained
• Educating patients and families on pre- and post-operative care
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
• Experience in pre-admissions, pre-op, PACU, or a surgical setting preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
