Providence Surgery Center is an accredited ambulatory surgery center recognized by The Joint Commission, reflecting our commitment to the highest standards of patient safety and quality care. The center is physician owned, and physicians may hold an ownership or investment interest in the facility. A current list of physician owners or investors is available upon request.
The facility includes:
• 2 Operating Rooms
• 1 Treatment Room
Our advanced technology and skilled surgical teams support procedures across multiple specialties, including:
• Cardiac
• ENT
• Orthopedic
• Pain Management
• Podiatry
The Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) provides direct support to surgeons before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role is essential to ensuring safe, efficient, and high quality surgical care. The CSFA functions as a key member of the perioperative team, assisting with operative procedures while maintaining strict adherence to sterile technique, regulatory standards, and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical First Assist or equivalent program
• Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) credential required
• Active certification and compliance with continuing education requirements
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred or as required by the center)
• Multispecialty experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery center preferred
• Ability to function effectively in a fast paced, multispecialty surgical environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
