Endoscopy Center of South Sacramento is hiring a GI Technician

 

At Endoscopy Center of South Sacramento, we believe health and care are inseparable. We are an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) providing Gastroenterology procedures in a high-quality, service oriented environment. 

 

What You Will Do  (Job Summary):  

The GI Technician/Endoscopy functions under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse and the GI technician work as a team in the procedure room to provide the optimal conditions in achieving positive patient outcomes. The GI technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining endoscopes and other instrumentation. Other GI technician responsibilities include facilitating patient flow, room turnover. Stocking procedure rooms, ordering supplies and performing a variety of clerical duties.

 

This position is Part Time, and will require 20 - 29 work hours/week 

 

Monday-Friday daytime work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

 
Starting Pay Range: $24 - $28/ hour, depending on experience

Required Skills

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • 2+ years clinical experience as Operating Room/ GI technician desired
  • Sterile processing experience preferred
  • Certification in OR Technology preferred
  • Current certification in CPR
  • Ability to lift 25lbs
  • Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both verbal and written
