Registrar at Eye Surgery Center of Nashville

As a Registrar, you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and their families. Your role is instrumental in creating a positive impression and ensuring that all administrative tasks are efficiently managed. We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients and their families, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Register patients accurately, verify insurance information, and update patient records.
  • Answer patient inquiries and provide information regarding the surgery process and financial aspects.
  • Ensure that all necessary forms and consents are completed and signed by patients.
  • Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to facilitate a smooth patient intake process.
  • Assist with scheduling and appointment coordination as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Previous front desk/registration experience in a healthcare setting is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and data entry.
  • Longevity in past roles.
