New Salem Surgery Center, a state-of-the-art multispecialty surgery center in Murfreesboro, is actively seeking a dynamic and compassionate Pre Admissions Testing RN to join our team. If you are a dedicated nursing professional looking for flexibility with no weekends, holidays, or on-call commitments, we invite you to apply.
The PAT RN:
· Conducts thorough pre-admission assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
· Educates patients and their families about the surgical process, including pre-operative instructions and post-operative care.
· Collaborates with patients, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive care plan.
Qualifications
· Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
· Active RN license in the state
· BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
· 2 years experience in Pre Admission Testing
· Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
· Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
· Strong communication skills, verbal and written
· Longevity in past roles
