We have been in operation at this location since 1985 and perform over 6,000 surgeries per year. Specialty areas include ENT, GI Lab, General Surgery, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Oral Surgery and Urology.

Front Desk Receptionist needed for busy, multispecialty ASC, Winter Haven Ambulatory Surgery Center in Winter Haven, Florida. The Front Desk Receptionist interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff; Admit patients and process their paperwork; Update patient demographics/information in system; Collect monies due and document in the billing system; Handle funds per office procedure. Answer incoming phone calls.

This position's schedule is early day shift and would start at 6 AM.


Required Skills

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
  • Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.
  • Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
  • Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
