Insurance Verifier

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights is seeking a motivated Insurance Verifier to join our team. We have 5 OR rooms and 3 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Job Summary: The Insurance Verification Clerk is responsible for validating and entering patient information and insurance coverage into the appropriate computer system. Duties may also include communicating with physician offices, insurance carriers, and patient follow-ups.

Qualifications: 

• High School education and/or equivalent
• Minimum two years previous experience hospital or ASC insurance verification required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
