Lake City Surgery Center LLC , is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant. We provide first-class surgical services for local communities and recognize our employees as our number one assets.
Job Summary:
The CNA would be assisting the Recovery Room with daily activities.
The CNA's duties will include stocking Recovery Room bedsides, dressing patients, walking patients, assisting patients to the bathroom, answering call lights, answering phones and, assisting RN’s as needed. This roll will include transporting patients into the vehicles once they are discharged, Screening Questionnaires, cleaning/making beds, wiping down bedside areas, Preparing linen bags if needed, monitor food supply level, stocking nourishment area and reporting when food is needed to be ordered.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate/GED
- Previous CNA experience
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant License
- Current BLS certification
- Safe operation of wheel chair and ability to assist patients
- Knowledgeable in how to take vital signs, provide personal care and ambulate patients
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good organization habits.
- Ability to work independently.
- Physical demands include walking and standing, opening doors, carrying packages, helping patients to safely enter a vehicle.
