Welcome to Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Pinecroft
We have 6 OR rooms and 2 treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in General, GI, ENT, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Spine, Urology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.
Anesthesia Tech at Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Pinecroft
Assist anesthesia providers in the OR with airway management and IVs.
Respond and assist in emergencies.
Order, stock and maintain anesthesia supplies.
Maintain anesthesia machines, crash cart & malignant hyperthermia carts daily.
Respond to emergencies in other departments.
Assist in other departments as needed.
Assist with positioning patients for surgical procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Anesthesia Tech training
- BLS certification required.
- Two years' experience as Anesthesia Tech required.
- Good communication skills with physicians, staff and patients.
- Understands operations of anesthesia machine, monitors, C02 analyzers, 02 sat analyzers.
- Basic knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement ideology.
