Wellness Avenue Surgery Center is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician

Today we are the largest ambulatory surgery platform in the country, with more than 350 ambulatory surgery centers and 28 surgical hospitals. We are also part of Tenet Healthcare, a unique and diversified enterprise which enables us to have access to additional resources and a greater support system. We are looking for a Sterile Processing Technician for our Surgery Center.

 

Sterile Processing Tech at Wellness Avenue Surgery Center

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

 

Qualifications

·       High School Diploma or Equivalent

·       Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience

·       Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred

·       Experience with all types of sterilizers

·       Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures

·       Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items

·       Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
