Position Overview
The PRN PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity of quality patient care with continual evaluation of patient condition, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy. This role supports physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile technique as needed, while delivering comprehensive care to patients recovering from anesthesia/sedation – including assessment, planning, implementation, and discharge preparation.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
- 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Pay Range- Min: $45 to Max: $56
Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
