Northwest ASC has an opening for a Certified Nurses Aide-PreOp/PACU  

 

Northwest Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is a multi-specialty, ambulatory surgical center located in the northwest section of Portland, OR.   We believe health and care are inseparable. What You Will Do (Job Summary):

Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport.  Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment.  Assists during patient examinations and procedures. Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations.  Communicates with patients regarding pre-op instructions and assists RNs as needed. Assist patients post procedures. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

 

Monday-Friday daytime work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Required Skills

 

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Completion of Nurses Aide training program. 
  • CNA certification required 
  • Patient care experience needed 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by AHA 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
