Full Time Medical Records Analyst/PBX Operator

Performs daily functions to ensure Electronic Medical Record healthcare data is accurate, complete and concise for data users. Scanning and analyzing medical records. Release of Information by fax, phone or email in accordance with state privacy laws and HIPAA guidelines. Interaction with nurse/physician in record completion. Medical Record audits.

ONSITE ONLY THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTE

Hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00am until 6:00pm

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent 

One year previous experience, or hospital/clerical experience preferred

Excellent computer skills

Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT 4 codes

State Privacy and HIPAA knowledge

Knowledge of Medical Terminology

Strong Customer Service Skills

Previous medical records and scanning experience preferred
