 USPI New Mexico Surgery Center Multi Specialty Downtown is hiring a Sterile Processing Technologist (SPD)

 
USPI New Mexico Surgery Center Multi Specialty Downtown is a specialty inpatient hospital which was established to set a new standard for excellence and patient satisfaction in the delivery of orthopedic and spinal surgery. USPI New Mexico Surgery Center Multi Specialty Downtown provides excellent patient services and the highest level of care, with the overall goal of improving the delivery of healthcare in Maricopa County and beyond.
 
Our singular focus is the state-of-the-art care of musculoskeletal conditions including joint replacement, spine surgery and other reconstructive procedures. Our mission is to provide first-class surgical services for the community in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment; one in which we would be happy to treat our own families.

We are looking for a Surgical Scrub Technologist for our Surgery Center.

Sterile Processing Tech at New Mexico Surgery Center:

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications:

  •        High School Diploma or Equivalent
  •        Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
  •        Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
  •       Experience with all types of sterilizers
  •        Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
  •        Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
  •        Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
