Medical Assistant

Summit Surgical is seeking a motivated full-time Medical Assistant- Pre-Op/PACU to join our team!

Position Responsibilities:

• Understands the Mission Statement of Summit Surgical Center and carries out that Mission
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks and flexibility as job priorities change.
• Demonstrates a positive can do attitude
• Work is accurate and complete
• Demonstrates knowledge and follows AORN standards
• Functions as a team member
• Adheres to dress code, attendance ,punctuality, meal break and rest periods
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Attends required department and ASC meetings.

Hourly Range: $24 to $26 per hour

Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience

Qualifications

• - BLS
• - Critical thinking skills.
• - Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to the operating room.
• High School Diploma
