Clinical Director

Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Richmond is a modern, patient-focused ambulatory surgery center featuring 4 Operating Rooms and 1 Treatment Room. Our advanced technology supports a wide range of outpatient procedures across multiple specialties, including GI, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, and Podiatry. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality, efficient care in a comfortable and collaborative environment.

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Director to lead our clinical operations and support our mission of delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about supporting both patients and clinical teams within an ambulatory surgery setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and supervision to all clinical staff, including RNs, surgical technologists, and support staff.
• Develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory and accreditation bodies (CMS, AAAHC, OSHA, etc.).
• Oversee clinical scheduling, staffing, and resource management to support efficient patient flow and daily operations.
• Collaborate with physicians and administrative leadership to support clinical excellence and center growth.
• Manage infection control, quality assurance, and risk management programs.
• Support ongoing training, competency, and professional development for clinical staff.
• Participate in budget planning, cost management, and operational decision-making while maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
• Minimum 3–5 years of perioperative or ASC clinical leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards for ambulatory surgery centers.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to build strong, collaborative team relationships.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities.
