Surgical Technologist at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - North Garland
The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED.
- Completion of a Scrub Technician Certification Program
- CPR certification required.
Experience:

2 years' experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Scope of service for this center includes orthopedics, GYN, ENT, general surgery, gastroenterology, pain management, and plastics.

Experience Preferred with- Orthopedic, General, ENT (Ortho sports medicine, total joints, hand/wrist) GYN, Podiatry, GI (colonoscopy & EGD), Pain and plastics
