Full-Time Pre Op Registered Nurse (RN)
As a FT PreOp RN, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for surgery by conducting thorough assessments, ensuring patient comfort, and delivering exceptional preoperative care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preoperative assessments, including reviewing patient medical histories, medication and current health status.
- Educate patients and families about the surgical process, ensuring they are informed and at ease.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a seamless and efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering patient-focused care.
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing

Active RN license in the state

BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center

2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred

Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit

Strong communication skills, verbal and written
