TOPS Comprehensive Breast Centers - Kingwood is looking for a Scheduler to join our compassionate, patient-focused team.
As the Scheduler, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients as they begin their care journey. This position is responsible for coordinating appointments, verifying insurance, and ensuring timely communication with patients and clinical staff. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently based on physician availability and procedure requirements
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations or referrals
- Provide patients with pre-appointment instructions and answer scheduling-related questions
- Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Collaborate with front office, clinical, and billing staff to ensure seamless patient experience
- Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays

Required Skills

Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a healthcare scheduling or front desk role strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Athena, Epic, or similar) is a plus
