Western Carolina Surgery Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated FT RN Manager with PreOp PACU experience to join our team. Western Carolina Surgery Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Our center specializes in the surgical procedures: orthopedics, GI, podiatry, ENT, pain and spine.
The Nurse Manager is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision, and facility goals. The Manager identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Manager identifies and remedies variances through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. The Nurse Manager works with Senior Management in meeting the center goals. This individual oversees Pre-op/PACU/PAT; assists as Pre-op/PACU/PAT RN as necessary.

Required Skills
- Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in NC
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Must have at least 3-5 years' previous experience in Pre-OP/PACU experience
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
- Must have current BLS and ACLS
- Three year's of management or supervisory experience
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
- Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
