We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Business Office Clerk to join our administrative team. This role will support accounts payable responsibilities while providing essential front desk and business office support, including patient check-in, chart preparation, scheduling, and data entry. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, financial processing experience, and a customer-service mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Front desk duties, including patient check-in and chart preparation.
- Data entry: posting payments and updating patient demographics.
- Assist with scheduling patient appointments and procedures.
- Process accounts payable invoices: verify accuracy, obtain approvals, and prepare payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.
- Assist with patient billing, payment posting, and collections as needed.
- Answer incoming calls and assist patients with billing inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment discrepancies.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial and administrative documents.
- Support other business office functions as needed.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in medical office administration, accounts payable, or patient registration preferred.
- Familiarity with medical billing and scheduling systems a plus.
