Parkway Surgery Center is seeking a full time Materials Manager to join the team!
Parkway Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
What You Will Do (Job Summary):
The Materials Manager is responsible for the process, which includes inventory control: ordering all medical supplies, maintaining an appropriate inventory of all medical supplies, receiving and stocking of all medical supplies to their assigned area. Provides support to the surgical team, and provides patient care within the prevailing state standards of practice and according to the policies of the facility. Communicates appropriate information to other team members.

NO call required

Required Skills
· High School Diploma or GED
· 2+ years of Materials Management experience in a health care environment required.
· Experience in SPD and/or Surgical Tech is a plus!
· Strong customer service background
· Strong math and counting skills
· Computer experience required (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel preferred)
· Able to deal tactfully with public and other staff members
· Must possess the ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
· Ability to deal with repetitive task
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
· Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat and lift heavy items above your head and shoulders
· Ability to work in a clean and sterile environment
