Providence Surgery and Procedure Center has an opening for a full time Materials Coordinator.

Job Summary: Procurement for all supplies in the hospital with the exception of food and drugs. The responsibility of the position includes ordering and receiving of supplies, stocking supplies and assisting Accounts Payable with invoice packets. We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic person. This person must be active as 90% of this position is physical activity.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicates by phone or in person with business office staff, patient care staff, OR staff and physicians accessing any changes or additional need for supplies
- Orders stock and non-stock supplies
- Daily input of requisitions and purchase orders
- Daily follow up of backorders, to include release dates, substitutions, returns, and discontinued products.
- Maintains adequate stock levels in assigned areas. Deliver and stock items daily FIFO (first in first out) rotation
- Other duties as assigned
- Monday-Friday work schedule
- NO call required
- NO Nights, NO Holiday work hours
- Free Parking
Pay Range: $18.67 - 27.07/hour, depending on experience

Required Skills
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous experience in hospital supply chain required.
- Computer skills and strong organization skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to deal with repetitive task
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat and lift heavy items above your head and shoulders
- Ability to work in a clean and sterile environment
