Transcriptionist - FT - Baptist M&S Imaging Center Business Office

Performs transcription of all dictated imaging reports in an accurate and efficient fashion.  Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.  Other related duties as assigned.

Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) certification preferred but not required. 

3 to 4 years equivalent work experience.  Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, radiology and various medical specialties as required.  Ability to understand diverse accents and dialects in varying dictation styles.
