Materials Manager

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking an experienced Materials Manager to join our team! Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is an Orthopedic Hospital in Mesa Arizona. We operate 4 OR's and 2 procedure rooms five days a week.

Under the supervision of the CFO, the Materials Manager is responsible for:

• Assuring that supplies, equipment, and all materials are available for the daily operation of the hospital.
• Maintains accurate records associated with the ordering, receiving and processing for payment all requisitions and purchase orders. 
• Manages the automated systems to support the materials management functions.
• Supervises the Materials Management technician.
• Regularly seeks opportunities for cost savings. 
• Reviews all contracts related to vendor services. 
• Able to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact, stamina and endurance.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of Materials Management experience
• Must have hospital experience in order to be considered for this position
• Oversees goals, assignments and deadlines
• Leads Materials Performance Improvement projects
• Works with Vendors and consignment
• Compliance with Joint Commission, state and federal regulations
• Must have excellent communication, management and customer service skills.
• Must possess the ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
