PRN OR Registered Nurse

New Salem Surgery Center, a leading multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Murfreesboro, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room RN to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a PRN position with the added benefit of no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements, providing an excellent work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the RN in the operating room during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience for patients.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room.
• Monitor and assess patients throughout the perioperative period.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to established protocols, policies, and procedures.

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program. 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an OR Registered Nurse
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
