*Monday-Friday only, no nights, weekends, calls, or holidays*

Operating Room Assistant at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Mansfield:

• Preparing and maintaining endoscopic equipment before, during, and after procedures
• Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed
• Ensuring all equipment is sterilized and adhering to infection control standards
• Ensuring compliance with all facility policies and procedures
• Continuous learning about new technology and advancements in endoscopy procedures
• Assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures
• Collecting and processing specimens as required
• Technician will assist with the turn-over & set-up of operating rooms.
• Technician will transport patients as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• PCT, CNA, medical assistant, EMT or any other medical experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work as a team player
• Experience in the medical field required
• Must be conscientious, self-motivated, organized and possess the ability to multi-task.
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
