Providence Surgery and Procedure Center is looking for a Nurse Manager - Operating Room to join our team!

Job Summary:
The Nurse Manager -Operating Room, under the general direction of the Clinical Director, assumes accountability for the operational management, and patient care management for the Surgery and Procedure Center. The OR Manager is responsible for coordination of care provided in the operating room within the Surgery Center. Is competent to fulfill the circulator role in the Surgery and Procedure Center. The OR Manager exhibits behaviors that enhance professional performance and reflect the key moral commitment, ethical principles, values and philosophy of Providence Medical Group. Promotes staff productivity through a defined care delivery system, staff development and positive staff morale, which includes staff involvement in program development and facilitation of staff shared decision making on issues affecting their patient care practices. Participates in the development and implementation of marketing strategies for their particular service. The OR Manager participates in collaboration with the Clinical Director for selection and evaluation of unit staff. Ensures that Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for operations and customer satisfaction are met during hours of operation day, Monday through Friday for The Surgery Center. This includes pre-planning, patient evaluation, preparation, arrivals utilization, start time and turnovers

The pay range for this position is $103,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience.
Required Skills
- Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing. Current WA RN License- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One (1) year experience in surgery management which includes pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care.
- Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. * Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.
