Insurance Collector at Middle Tennessee Ambulatory SC
The Insurance Verifier is responsible for validating and entering patient information and insurance coverage into the appropriate computer system. Duties may also include communicating with physician offices, insurance carriers, patient follow-ups and providing registration coverage. Under the direction of the Business Office Manager, this role is carried out in support of USPI’s mission, vision, and facility goals. This position works collaboratively with both the Administrator and the clinical leadership team while providing quality work that supports excellent patient care.

Required Experience
- Education: High School Graduate
- One (1) year previous medical insurance verification REQUIRED
- Minimum two (2) years of hospital, surgery center, medical office experience PREFERRED
- Ability to work independently and use time wisely to meet high-paced demand
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
