Frontenac Surgery and Spine Care Center, a leading outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high-quality care and service-oriented environment, is seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Sonographer to join our team. As a sonographer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth surgical operations.

Sonographer at Frontenac Surgery and Spine Care Center

The Sonographer assists physician in performance of diagnostic sonography procedures. Performs quality sonographic procedures accurately and in a timely manner. Operates ultrasound equipment, develops film, and prepares patient's room, equipment, supplies and medications. Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an allied health accredited program
  • Some hospital experience preferred
  • Must be well trained to handle different ages and risk factors when performing sonographic procedures
