Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii, located in Honolulu, is looking for a Full Time -  GI Technician/Endoscope Processor to join our amazing and growing team.

About the Opportunity-Job Summary: 

As a GI Technician/Endoscope Processor, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites under the Center Manager's guidance. You will follow CDC guidelines for infection prevention and control. Additionally, you will assist physicians and staff nurses during procedures, perform daily equipment maintenance, and support the center's mission.   This position is also responsible for the preparation of equipment and supplies used for endoscopy scope reprocessing environment in accordance with the Standards of Practice and Policies and Procedures.

 

Monday-Friday work schedule. Some Saturday work hours depending on center needs

NO call required, NO Nights

Ability to float to other centers with added compensation

 

The pay range for this position is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of GI/Endo procedures or sterile processing techniques
  • Prior experience as a GI Tech, Endo Tech, Medical Assistant, or Sterile Processing Tech
  • Familiarity with clinical or surgical settings
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain)
