Endoscopy Center of South Sacramento has an opening for a PRN  - RN PreOP/PACU/Circulating.


The RN PreOP/PACU/Circulating provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, pre-anesthesia interview and post-anesthesia patient calls, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

 

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

 

Pay range is $50 - $72/hour, depending on experience. 

 

 


Required Skills

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Active RN license in the state of CA 
  • BLS and ACLS Required
  • 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
  • Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
