Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team. The PCA will provide essential patient support, assisting nurses and medical staff to ensure smooth clinical operations and optimal patient experiences.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with preparation and recovery before and after procedures.
  • Help with transferring, positioning, and mobility support for patients.
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Maintain a clean and safe patient environment by restocking supplies and sanitizing equipment.
  • Provide basic patient comfort measures, such as blankets, water, and reassurance.
  • Support nurses and clinical staff in patient care tasks as needed.
  • Assist in the discharge process, ensuring patients understand post-procedure instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Required Skills

Required Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
  • Experience in endoscopy, gastroenterology, or outpatient surgical care is beneficial.
