The Endoscopy Center HI-Hilo is looking for a full-time - Front Desk Receptionist to join our amazing patient focused team.
Job Summary:
The Front Office Receptionist will be responsible for providing a positive, welcoming experience to our patients and their families! The individual hired into this role will greet patients and their families, answer and route incoming calls, complete insurance verification as needed, cash collections and the correct handling of patient charts.
The starting rate for this role is between $18.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Competence in using basic office equipment, including computer, printer, telephone, and fax
- Excellent clerical and organizational abilities
- Proven customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, especially in high-stress situations
- Strong multi-tasking capabilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Bilingual skills highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining composure and professionalism when interacting with patients and family members, including in potentially challenging situations
