Front Desk/Admissions Coordinator at Golden Ridge Ortho Center:

We are looking for a Front Desk/Admissions Coordinator for our Golden Ridge Ortho Center in Golden, CO who can interact well with patients, patient's families, doctors, fellow employees and vendors. This is a fast-paced environment that is driven to reach the highest quality and patient satisfaction outcomes in Colorado.

Requirements:

Patient Admissions

  • Greet patients on admission.
  • Verify patient information as necessary.
  • Obtain required patient information, copies of insurance cards, and signatures.
  • Collect patient co-payments, co-insurance or deductible payments.
  • Notify appropriate staff of patient arrival and admission.
  • Ensures patients are aware of any potential observers, and initiates proper paperwork to document the patient’s approval.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all vendors are properly checked-in before authorizing admittance into patient care areas.
  • Keep family members informed of patient’s status during their stay in the Center.

Qualifications

  • One-year medical office experience, preferred
  • Ability to use time wisely in preparing work area to meet high-paced demand.
  • Show a genuine desire to work and improve the center as a whole.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to adhere to hospital financial and admitting policies.
  • Ability to promote positive relationships with patients and staff.
  • Must have problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Must demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills.
