Foundation Surgical Hospital is hiring a Sterile Processing Tech

Shift: Days/Mid-Mornings

 Welcome to Foundation Surgical Hospital

We have 20 private suites and 5 OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Bariatric, Orthopedic, General, Neuro/Spine, ENT, Pain, Urology. 

Sterile Processing Tech at Foundation Surgical Hospital

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

•        High School Diploma or Equivalent
•        Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
•        Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
•        CBSPD or IACHSMM required, must be obtained within 18 months of hire
•        Experience with all types of sterilizers
•        Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
•        Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
•        Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
