We’re currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pre-Op/PACU team. In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional care to patients before and after their procedures, working alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals who value safety, collaboration, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care using the nursing process and the medical plan of care
  • Monitor and assess patients pre- and post-operatively, responding to changing conditions
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education before and after surgery
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, surgical staff, and fellow RNs
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with organizational policies
  • Support a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and patient satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Texas RN license (note: the original said Virginia – adjusted for location)
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Pre-Op and/or PACU setting
  • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center preferred
  • Strong understanding of surgical procedures and the perioperative patient journey
  • Ability to care for patients across the lifespan – from pediatrics to geriatrics
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Professional, ethical, and team-oriented approach to patient caref

Required Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
