Certified Nursing Assistant – Day Shift (PRN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA to join our inpatient team for day shift PRN coverage. The CNA will assist nursing staff in providing direct patient care, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and delivering excellent service to our patients and their families.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, mobility, and feeding
  • Record and report vital signs, intake/output, and other key data to nursing staff
  • Ensure patient comfort and address non-clinical needs promptly
  • Support nursing staff with turning, repositioning, and transporting patients
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in patient care areas
  • Adhere to infection control, safety procedures, and facility policies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active CNA certification in the state of Texas
  • BLS certification (required or willing to obtain upon hire)
  • Prior hospital or post-surgical care experience preferred
