Surgery Center of Columbia, a leading outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high-quality care and service-oriented environment, is seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth surgical operations.

Surgical Technologist at Surgery Center of Columbia

The Surgical Technologist, the primary responsibility of this position is to assist in providing nursing care of the surgical patient in the O.R. suite.

Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a High School graduate or have completed a GED course.
  • Successful completion of Surgical Technologist course.
  • Have a basic knowledge of surgical techniques.
  • Assist in providing care for the surgical patient
  • General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room
