As a PreOp RN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of patients through the perioperative process, from preoperative assessment to post-anesthesia care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preoperative assessments, including reviewing medical histories and conducting physical assessments.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and conditions throughout the perioperative period.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications:
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of two years of PreOp experience.
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
